On October 1, 1983, the initial wave of pathologists in Massachusetts formed practices and entered into fee for service billing arrangements at their institutions. Prior to that time, they were hospital employees. Forty years later, many of those practices continue to provide clinical and laboratory administration services for their patients and hospital colleagues.
HMA is proud to have initiated many of those very successful transitions and, thanks to our hard work, innovative strategies and client loyalty, continues to provide practice management and bookkeeping services to pathology practices to this day!
